The aisles of Costco are full of anything and everything anyone could want. A small nation – or maybe two – could live here, quite happily, for decades.
Onward [hope]
… for the past several years, hope of the American kind has been in short supply. I suspect that this was not entirely George W. Bush’s doing. I suspect that the scarcity of hope, in fact, was no one person’s doing at all, but that the American dream has been eroding since its inception.
